When looking at the table above it's useful to remember that included in your contract is furnished accomodations, in addition to an airplane ticket to Korea (and often a ticket back home.) The cost of living (food, etc.) is also lower in Korea than in Western countries. (Korean taxes on foreigners is also very low - just 5-8% of your salary!)
